Hello, everyone. To today's episode of Tumblr user Rebo-chan loses her mind and assigns each and every Vongola guardian a flower that I have painstakingly searched high and low for (I wish I was being dramatic, I got too invested in this as I worked on it). Is this done in a state of mania? Perhaps, but I am diseased by COVID-19 as we speak and this is what I will do with the time I am meant to be resting with. Nonetheless we must get started. Content under the cut, because I can NEVER make a short post. It's against my core beliefs clearly.
Sawada Tsunayoshi:
The European Orange Lily (Lilium bulbiferum)
Tumblr media
My reasoning for this starts with the fact that the "lily" itself has a lot of different meanings, but the important aspect of the lily is that its considered the spring flower and represents often meanings of renewal and rebirth. The very messaging for our sweet boy, a life restarted after he meets his mentor. An orange lily specifically has meanings dipped into warmth, joy, passion (In regards to his devotion to those he loves), 'welcoming' to new opportunities in your life (lol), and most importantly - confidence and pride. Something that he grows to be over the course of his renewal, pride in his friends. Confidence in his strength to protect them. KHR is a story about a nobody becoming somebody strong enough to protect them, even and especially when they falter themselves. It should also be noted that in Hanakotoba (Japanese flower language), orange lilies represent 'revenge and hatred'. Which I think is a factor of Tsuna we can't ignore, as sweet as he is, TYL Tsuna's actions become darker the more you think about them. Tsuna can and has killed when a villain has overstepped too far, and never forget that he just wanted to know "who" Yamamoto's attacker was. For no reason, just to look at him, maybe shake his hand lol. Fr though, that boy's made of fire, both to keep his loved ones warm and to burn their enemies. I think the orange lily fits him nicely.
Also yes, I'll do my best to color-code these flowers~
Gokudera Hayato:
A Red Fressia
Tumblr media
So, its quite hard actually to find any sort of 'red' flowers that aren't about some sort of romantic-esque devotion. Just being a red flower inherently puts you in that category of 'passion, love, marriage' meanings when it comes to flowers. It's a real struggle, but luckily he's our only red character amongst the Vongola kids. Okay, so the Freesia is represented by the concept of friendship and ultimate trust. I think it was easier for me to find a flower that represents devotion or duty and tack it on to Gokudera, but I think that's just looking at him on the surface. The story behind the freesia is that the botanist who found them in South Africa decided to name it after his friend as a symbol of their friendship. Very lovely :)<3 For all of Gokudera's dutiful affection for Tsuna, a lot of it is based on the fact that Tsuna was his first friend and the person who he trusted first. His eventual character growth and bonding with the other guardians came as he allowed himself to trust them, when he realized that his 'duty' that he believed to be absolute was above his bonds. Rather, it's his bonds that strengthen his resolve to be the perfect right hand man. Due to the intense representation of friendship and trust, freesias are given to a loved one to represent commitment to them, not unlike Gokudera's commitment to Tsuna and therefore the Vongola family unit. It should also be noted that in Hanakotoba, freesias also have a negative meaning which is childishness and immaturity which I do feel is something that Gokudera has to work through in order to become the best version of himself and has done quite well at by the end of the series. He's our little friendship blossom :)<3 Yamamoto Takeshi: Himalayan Blue Poppy
Tumblr media
Let me start this by complaining that 'blue' flowers are so fucking rare, it took me forever to find something matched and was also color-coded with Yamamoto, that didn't dip into too indigo, because of the rarity of a nicely blue flower. To start, blue as a color has all those lovely Yamamoto vibes of being calming, easy on the mind, tranquility, all that beautiful stuff we know Yamamoto to be. (It's almost like Amano color-coded her characters guys..) Poppies themselves got a bit of cultural significance in the West, being the flowers given to WW1 soldiers after they'd passed as a way of remembrance. They're also known for growing in desolate war-torn areas, just a patch of poppies as well as having many soldiers buried with a poppy with them in honor. With that the poppy itself has themes of death, honor, lessons, tradition and remembrance. With Yamamoto’s connection to the Poppy flower, Yamamoto himself is..pretty death-coded. HEAR ME OUT. HEAR !! ME OUT!!!! Varia arc, Squalo ‘dies’ against Yamamoto. Future arc, Tsuyoshi is killed for Yamamoto being involved with the Vongola, Shimon with Yamamoto himself getting nearly killed and then that big moment where he offers to kill Daemon in retaliation for what was done to Kaoru. While not canon as well, the primo fillers are about Yamamoto dealing with the fact he DIDNT kill daisy and how he felt he had to be less easy-natured and actually go for the kills from now on. And of course, his attempt during daily life when he could not do what he loved anymore. He’s VERY death-coded y’all. But the poppy itself isn’t just some omen of death, but the lessons one can gather from those who have passed. Yamamoto’s own battle style is about taking the lessons of those before him who carried Shigure Soen Ryu and then growing upon that to carve a new and improved future for himself and those he cares about. He adapts to their lessons, what Squalo and Tsuyoshi have to teach him. On the fly, continuing the Shigure legacy and creating more moves to eventually pass on to the one that succeeds him. In general, he carries any lessons he has up until the end of the series and tries to never make the same mistake again. Whether that’s his lessons against the Mists he’s battled, his loss against Squalo for not having a proper sword style, and though he doesn’t get a chance against Gamma again, he’s always understood the importance of teamwork. That being said, he’s not just a poppy. He’s a Himalayan Blue Poppy. You see the himalayan blue poppy has a different meaning outside that of the ones that the other poppies do. With its rarity, it also represents success, potential, pursuit of dreams, and possibility.  Yamamoto is the Vongola family’s prodigy, a natural born hitman, the star baseball player on his team. Stuck at a crossroads between his dream and being able to be in a position to protect the ones he loves. An impossibly difficult choice to make, yet Yamamoto handles it with ease. He just won’t choose! He’ll do both! Which fights very nicely with the Hanakatoba meaning of the poppy. “Fun-loving” “A reminder to remember happiness.” Along with general blue color meanings of tranquility, that is Yamamoto to his core, I believe. When things get their worst, he is there to remind everyone that it is never as bad as it feels. To wash away the blood spilled, that is the role of the Vongola Rain Guardian. His crossroad isn’t an issue to him, because that’s not what he fights for! He fights to make things easier for everyone, so they may remember happiness. That sort of thing doesn’t exactly need him to make a choice on his path. Now, does it? If he’s forced to choose, he will just carve out new possibilities for himself and the ones that he loves with the lessons he’s learnt.
Lambo Bovino: Green Envy Zinnia
Tumblr media
Contrary to the title, the green envy zinnia has nothing to do with envy. Quite the opposite, actually. The zinnia itself represents endurance (HEAR. ME. OUT LOL), lasting affection, joy, and various other things. So, the zinnia is super fucking tough, again hear me OUTTTT. They bloom all the way from springtime to autumn, something pretty unheard of from flowers which gave them their meaning. A green envy Zinnia specifically represents growth or a journey. Wishes of a healthy and successful growth. And I believe that is the hope for Lambo, as he progresses through the series. He is quite literally a child, both himself and TYL. But that’s just the thing for him, to the one that chose the guardians (Iemitsu, it’s very implied that it was Iemitsu), Lambo is an INVESTMENT. And a correct one if twenty years old Lambo was anything to go by. Not only that, the zinnia represents a joyous endurance. This doesn’t have to be painful for him, and it’s not as he’s allowed to both be a kid in Tsuna’s care while also holding on tight when told to stay out of the fight. (“You have to take the younger me wherever you go, he wants to go with you.”). And as a bit of an angsty little hehe on my part, the zinnia also represents missing those who have passed, that you remember someone and love them even now that they’re not with you. (“Seeing you all again, I thought the day would never happen. It’s making me emotional.”) Honestly, judging by how Lambo fights when he gets the opportunity to properly do it, he just isn’t weak. Destroying Kikyo’s box animal, fighting against Ooyama, and of course against Levi too. In Hanakotoba, the Zinnia represents loyalty. He is their youngest blossom, enjoying being around the one he considers a brother with hidden potentials to grow into someone with the ability to be Vongola’s shield. If the ones he loves ever make it to see that sight, of course.
Ryohei Sasagawa: Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)
Tumblr media
Okay, so the yarrow is first of all a funky flower. If you’ve never seen OTHER colors of the yarrow flower, I implore you to google it. Especially the red ones? Why are you so pretty? Lucky enough for this flower (and me I’m starting to lose my mind here, this was a much bigger task than I thought it would be) the different colors don’t change the meaning of the flower here which is neat. It also unfortunately has no hanakotoba meaning either. So, anyway. The yarrow. It represents a warrior’s bravery, protection, and healing. The healing comes from the fact that its a commonly used herb for bruises, cuts, and sprains. There’s also huge folklore around it which affects its scientific name, as Achilles used yarrow to take care of the men he was in charge of. This flower was also used as a ward against evil, where people would hang this outside of their homes in order to protect them from evil getting inside. A superstition developed around this leading to Yarrow to be named the devil’s nettle to refer to the belief that the devil would come around and shake the yarrow that people hung up due to wanting to curse them. This flower also represents strong everlasting love, to the point where a little tradition propped up where people would shove this flower up their nostrils whenever they had a nosebleed so if they dreamt about their crush it meant that they liked them back lol. Yall there was so much rich lore on this flower, it’s super neat. More than I could fit in here. Anyway, I’m sure yall see the connection with Ryohei acting as the group older brother, being the motivating factor for them. He was the first to go up during Varia arc and set the tone for the rest of the battles, that the Vongola would win. Last to show up during future, representing that all of them had finally been reunited. A draw against Aoba, again the very first battle, almost symbolizing HOW shimon would end. He’s the strength in their arms, acting as the last person to leave in future arc until they were ready to go. Taught them and helped lead them to make decisions during that arc. It’s almost his duty to protect the younger ones, even getting up on Hibari’s case in the fillers for not helping out his younger classmen. We can’t even dismiss the way he would prefer to shield Kyoko from everything that they go through, and getting aggressive with Tsuna when Tsuna broke something he thought both of them saw eye to eye on.  Not much rattles him, honestly if you pay attention to his scenes, only getting the most nervous and agitated TRULY when he fears he won’t be able to protect someone (Asking Tsuna how Kyoko reacted to the news, Tozaru getting on his case about Lambo coming to the battle) Otherwise, he’s his happy loud confident self ready to tackle on anything for the sake of the family. Destroying the misfortune that attacks the family with their own body, the yarrow represents that duty well. For every bruise the younger one gets, Ryohei has the ability to heal it. For every fear, Ryohei tackles it first. Acting as a ward and protector for his family. Hibari Kyoya
Clematis (Etoile Violette)
Tumblr media
Clematis is a climbing flower, to start with. One of those flowers that grow along walls and vines. It’s a very adaptable flower, able to work with various environments and thrive amongst them. They’re known as the traveler’s joy, meant to wish travelers good luck and act as protection to those who pass by them. While also having a more negative reputation, having “killed” other plants by outcompeting them considered having done the devil’s work. (The plant is actually considered invasive aha oops) The clematis though, itself represents mental fortitude, cleverness, and the ability to find hope in perilous situations. Hibari himself, I mean just that back and forth reputation is just him, no? Acting as Namimori’s protector, keeping a watchful eye on the town while also being utterly terrifying for Namimori students and almost overwhelming to those competing with him. (Dino will only find escape from Hibari in death, Mukuro is the same) But, he is also undoubtedly Vongola’s wall. Similar to Ryohei, not once throughout the series really and truly faltering. The clematis itself with its representation in mental fortitude can be given to someone when they need mental strength. I think the best way to represent this is directing you to that moment in Shimon arc when Tsuna, while not physical beaten, had been mentally tormented by everything that had happened and Hibari came to his battle to Adel. A simple, but strong “Little animal, your face right now is dull. Watch my fight.” It’s in that fight Tsuna gets his mental strength back, being given a hint to answer the question he’s been stressing and faltering over. Then there’s future arc, having been the only one TYL Tsuna trusted with the plan. Kokuyo Arc, Gokudera seeing an already defeated Hibari and taking him to the battle. Varia arc, the gang realizing that if Hibari is fighting next then they may have already won it and refusing to succumb to the poison in the sky battle. Rainbow arc, Tsuna considering them in that list of people he “just expects to help him.” He has the ability to be their hope, to be another factor of their strength. Where Ryohei is holding them up on the physical aspect, Hibari is absolutely their mental strength. (Isn’t it charming that the two eldest are the pillars of their group? I think it is). Also, in Hanakotoba, the clematis represents moral beauty and order. And that’s just the kinda man who could run something like the discipline committee, isn’t? The special thing, finally is that the etoile violette represents a sense of freedom from troubles. A free man, unchained himself and choosing to help those younger than him. Sometimes for the thrill of a battle, sometimes to actually help them with the reputation of a devil. Unpredictable, but still trusted.  It’s the sky that allows the clouds to roam freely, but even someday that sky will be beaten to death.
Chrome Dokuro
Lupine (Blue Bonnet)
Tumblr media
The Lupine flower is before anything else, a second chance at life. A recovery from one’s trauma and the admiration that comes from that. Its gratitude and kindness put into one. There’s a legend around the lupine flower about a land full of drought where Native Americans had believed would be saved by selflessness and yet no one had come forward to do anything, until a young girl came forward and offered the last of her possessions. The rain came to fall at her sacrifice, and hundreds of lupines had blossomed from the ground saving the tribe from drought and hunger as the seeds of the Lupine could be harvested to be eaten. The Lupine represents that the world will always give back if you are willing to help. Chrome, from her introduction, is told to be a girl who has nothing. With two parents who want nothing to do with her and no friends by her side. She runs forward to save a kitten and is gravely injured. With neither of her parents willing to help her, Chrome wonders if she is going to die here but is offered a deal by Mukuro. It’s here that Chrome is offered her second chance and she spends the whole series trying to return the favor to Mukuro. All while healing from her own trauma, the type of trauma that “no one could care about her”, as she is offered food and bonds from Tsuna, Kyoko, Haru, I-pin, Bianchi, Hibari, and so many others. It's in her second chance that she gets to experience what life truly had to offer her, as thank you for her continued selflessness. It’s that gratitude that she represents and the never-ending desire to give when she doesn’t accept Mukuro’s assistance anymore with her organs because she can no longer give him anything now that he’s out of Vindice Prison. She resolves that she will become someone who can protect the people she and Mukuro like. Her confidence isn’t perfect and she falters quite a bit, not believing that her powers are as great as those around her. But, that’s okay, because her goodness has brought her to people who have got her back until she can figure herself out. She has Mammon to correct her when her illusions are seen through that they are well made, but she’s just dealing with professionals and that’s why they’re seen through. There’s Tsuna who relies on her blindly, never doubting her strength to protect them as he asks her to act as defense during Shimon arc and protect Enma from his attack. Alongside with Fran, she is trusted to protect Yamamoto and Gokudera in the final battle against Vindice and taken with Tsuna against Jaegar. She has a lot of space to continue growing, but Lupin also represents voracity and happiness in Hanakotoba. She has her second chance to learn all about that, or as Mukuro put it to her, “An ending is merely the beginning of another cycle.”
Rokudo Mukuro
Aconitum (Wolfsbane)
Tumblr media
Wolfsbane is also referred to as Monkshood. This is another one with pretty rich lore with its connection to werewolves. It’s referred to as “queens of the poisons” and has a pretty negative message to it on the outside. First of all, this thing’s poison? TOUGH AS HELL. Delirium, frothing at the mouth, vision impairment, and of course the classic coma<3 It’s got an uncanny resemblance to what rabies actually looks like. Fun, right? Okay, fr though onto its meaning. Wolfsbane is an omen that danger is nearby, not unlike the unnerving feeling Tsuna gets whenever he senses Mukuro nearby. Said to have come from Hell itself, the saliva that has dripped down from Cerberus himself. Not unlike our sweet boy. But, being an omen does not always represent something bad. Is he bringing the danger to you, or is he warning you of the true danger that lies past him? It’s a little bit of both. Aconitum represents concealed wisdom and caution in decision-making. But it also DOES represent protection, a proper and true warning of the dangers of the wild. That beauty does not always mean safe. For his twisted sense of vengeance and believing that taking over the world is the only way to destroy it for the sake of what was done to him, he isn’t necessarily wrong for being enraged about what happened to him. Yet, despite his hate, he doesn’t drag those who he cares about further down into it than he has to. He sends Ken and Chikusa away when they are going to get caught, he never uses Chrome for anything besides as a vessel to help her, and he says during Rainbow arc that if he forced Fran to continue past his limits he’d be no better than those nasty adults of his past. Aconitum balances sweetly between light and darkness, similar to Mukuro. He won’t admit it, but he cares for those amongst the Vongola. He infiltrates the Millefiore and sends the Vongola information after Tsuna’s death, he helps Chrome form a barrier around Enma so he could be safe from Tsuna’s X-Burner. And, of course he teams up with Vongola’s team during the rainbow arc. These are undoubtedly kind actions,  but when Tsuna gets angry at Mukuro during Rainbow claiming that he didn’t believe that Mukuro was the type to abandon his allies, Mukuro says that that was just his idea of him. Even though it was Chrome ultimately rejecting him, he instead pretended that he really was some big bad heartless person. Definitely, Mukuro is no angel, but also he’s no demon either. He’s.. just a human at the end. The aconitum’s dance with both light and dark, a flower that tries to warn, can be read both good and bad depending on how you look at it. His rejection of his ‘official’ position as part of the Mafia, yet acting as the Vongola Mist Guardian when their goals align. He’s as confusing as the duty he embodies, but he succeeds nonetheless in ensuring the family is untouchable in his deceptions. After all, the best way to fool your enemies is to fool your allies first.

Let's see~ Valentines prompt 6 with Danganropa girl Junko enoshima with a male reader~, I think this would work well since it's just unexpected for Junko to go this route of just not being upfront. So with she's confessed to being the secret admirer and have to reassure her future boyfriend that this I not a joke, prank or dare, she is 100% in love with them
Junko being your secret admirer
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing:junko enoshima x male reader
(Non despair au)
Tumblr media
"Thank you for agreeing to help me kyoko"
"It's nothing, I wouldn't deserve my ultimate if I didn't use it to help people, especially my friends"
"It's still a big help"
Kyoko nodded and entered your dorm as soon as you let her in
"So what mystery would you like me to solve?"
"This"
You pointed to the giant stack of letters on your desk
"........I........see"
"This admirer has been leaving these letters in front of my dorm for like a week. They're really sweet, but since I don't know who sent them I can't go talk to them"
"I understand, so you want me to find out who sent them"
"If you can"
"Can I see them?"
"Sure I guess they're mine now anyway"
The detective hummed and went to the desk to pick up one of the letters and open it
"It's OK if you can't It's probably just a prank anyw-"
"It's junko"
".............what?"
"It's junko, she's the one who's been sending you the letters"
".......how did you figure it out that fast?"
"Do you know any other girl in our class who would leave a very visible mark of seemingly very expensive lipstick on the letter?"
"I mean it-"
"Or who sprinkles it with glitter"
"............."
"Or who writes with an impressively good calligraphy but for some reason still dots her Is with hearts"
"........now you make me feel dumb"
"Don't, I'm the ultimate detective for a reason"
"But still......are you sure? Junko's so popular and I'm........well I'm me, those letters feel so passionate, does she really feel something for me"
"From what I'm reading, there's no doubt, she definitely does, you don't just write something like this for a dare"
"That's what I think so too but....."
"Does that bother you?"
"No, the opposite, I kinda like junko too"
"Then go talk to her, if she likes you you get a valentine and maybe even a girlfriend, if she doesn't then you can just move on"
".........yeah I'll go, thanks"
"No problem, if you need me again, I'm always here"
You went outside of your dorm, still a bit nervous, and found junko talking with mukuro in the hallway, as soon as the fashionista spotted you a very slight blush appeared on her cheeks and she sent her sister away before turning to you with a wide smile
"Hey y/n, what's up? You wanna hang out? Cause I'm always up for that"
"I'll just cut to the chase, are you....my secret admirer?"
".....w-what?"
"Like the person who has been sending me the love letters"
"*sighs* I knew you'd figure it out eventually, yep its me, junko enoshima! Hope you liked the letters I used some of my best lipstick to mark them"
"Y-yeah I loved them, but did you really mean all that?"
"Duh! I wouldn't have written them otherwise"
"So it's not a prank or some sorr of dare-"
"Listen y/n if someone ever asked me to prank you, I'd prank them back 10 times as much just for saying that, I love love you, whooooole lot, so much that I can't even put it into words so I tried to write it down, and then I saw a romance movie where the girl left secret notes for the guy she liked and thought it was like super extra adorable, so I decided to do the same since we're even in the perfect period"
"W-wow so you really like me?"
"No I love you, I already said that"
"Sorry it's just a bit hard to believe"
"Why? You're super awesome and the most handsome guy ever in my opinion, so it's only right that the hottest girl ever should get to ask you out"
"W-wait you wanna ask me out?"
"Obviously, or like to be my valentine, but I always thought those things were pretty much the same"
"......w-wow thank you so much"
"It's nothing cutie~ so wanna be junko's super amazing valentine?"
"Yeah of course"
"Yaaas!!! Being valentines is like step one to becoming a couple, I gotta post about this, can we go somewhere tonight, I know a really cute place that's perfect for first dates and I also have this dress I've been waiting for a right moment to wear and I think this is it"
"Yeah definitely, see you tonight junko I can't wait, this is amazing, thank you so much"
"No thank you for accepting the letters my valentine and most definitely future boyfriend"
You giggled and went to your dorm again both to prepare and to look at the letters that your now valentine and most definitely future girlfriend gave you

More Than Enough
Tumblr media
Nathan Bateman x Reader
Warnings: talks about wanting a baby, possible infertility
Summary: For almost a year, you and Nathan have been trying to conceive, but it hasn’t happened.
Tumblr media
Nathan always told you the truth.
It was one of the first things you had learned about him, he never sugarcoated things, never danced around the facts.
It was part of what made you fall for him.
But sometimes, the truth hurts.
Almost a year of marriage. Months of trying. And yet, nothing.
You weren’t sure if it was you, if it was him, or if it was just bad luck, but month after month, hope slipped through your fingers.
Some nights, it ate at you.
But you never kept it from Nathan. If there was one thing you were certain of, it was that silence would only make the pain worse.
And so, you told him.
You told him about the nights you lay awake wondering why your body wouldn’t do the one thing it was supposed to. You told him about the days when every happy pregnancy announcement from friends and strangers felt like a knife in your chest.
And he listened.
Nathan always listened.
Even now, as you sat curled against him on the couch, his arm over your shoulders, he listened.
“Say it,” he murmured, voice low, rough with whiskey and exhaustion. “Whatever’s rattling around in that head of yours.”
You exhaled slowly. “I feel like I’m failing you.”
Nathan went still beside you. He turned his head, his dark eyes narrowing slightly. “What?”
Your throat tightened. “I know you want kids.”
Nathan sighed, rubbing a hand over his beard. “I want a lot of things, Babe. Doesn’t mean I need them.”
You swallowed, forcing yourself to meet his gaze. “But it does bother you. At least a little.”
Nathan was quiet for a moment, his fingers trailing idly over your arm. “You’re right,” he admitted. “It does bother me.”
Your chest clenched.
“But not because of you,” he added firmly. “Not because I’m sitting here keeping score, waiting for you to ‘perform’ or whatever bullshit you’ve got running through your head. It bothers me because I see how much it’s hurting you.”
You bit your lip, blinking against the sting in your eyes. “It’s just… I don’t know. I thought it would be easy. You and me, we’re good together. We love each other. It should happen, right?”
Nathan let out a dry chuckle. “Damn, Sweetheart, if biology worked like that, the world would be a much better place.”
Despite everything, you laughed a little enough for him to smirk and squeeze your arm.
“Listen,” he said, voice softer now. “I love you, alright? You’re not some goddamn machine that’s ‘failing’ just because shit isn’t working out the way we planned. We’ll figure it out. And if we don’t… we don’t. It doesn’t change us.”
You nodded, leaning into him. “Okay.”
“Okay,” he echoed, kissing the top of your head. “Now, go put on one of those sappy-ass movies you like. I’ll be in the lab for a while.”
Nathan disappeared into his lab, and you did exactly as he said.
You curled up on the couch with an old movie playing.
You weren’t sure how much time had passed when you noticed movement in the doorway.
Kyoko.
She stood just at the edge of the couch, her expression as unreadable as ever.
You had never liked her. Something about her presence unsettled you in a way you couldn’t quite explain.
Maybe it was the way she moved, silent, calculated. Or maybe it was the fact that Nathan had built her to be perfect. An image of precision and beauty.
She took a step forward, her head tilting slightly.
“You are a failure.”
The words were soft. Emotionless.
You blinked, your body stiffening. “What?”
Kyoko moved closer. “Nathan wanted a child. And you cannot even give him that.”
“Shut up.”
Her lips parted in something that could have been a smile, mocking. “Humans… not so great after all.”
"Shut the fuck up.
Then, she lunged.
You barely had time to react before she was on you, her strength inhuman, her grip vice-like as she shoved you back against the couch. Panic surged through you as you struggled, but she was too strong, her hands wrapped around your throat, pressing.
A sudden crash.
Then Nathan’s hands, grab Kyoko by the shoulders and rip her away from you.
She hit the floor with a mechanical whir, her body spasming.
Nathan didn’t hesitate, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a small device. With a single press of a button, Kyoko jerked once before collapsing completely.
Silence.
Your chest heaved as you gasped for breath, trembling as Nathan turned to you, eyes dark and burning with something dangerous.
“Are you hurt?” His hands found your face, tilting it up. “Baby, talk to me.”
You swallowed hard, trying to steady yourself. “I’m okay.”
Nathan exhaled sharply, his jaw tight. “She won’t move again,” he muttered. “I’ll deal with it.”
You nodded, still shaken, and without another word, Nathan scooped you up into his arms, carrying you to the bathroom.
The warm water of the bath soothed your skin, the tension in your muscles slowly unravelling. Nathan knelt beside the tub, running a damp cloth over your arms, his touch gentle.
You hesitated, then murmured, “She said I was a failure.”
Nathan froze.
“She said you wanted a child, and I couldn’t give you one.”
His eyes darkened, his grip tightening slightly on the cloth. Then, without a word, he tossed it aside, cupping your face between his hands.
“Listen to me,” he said, voice low and steady. “Kyoko was programmed to observe. To repeat. Not to understand. You think I’d ever let some soulless machine define what you are to me?”
You swallowed, looking away. “It’s not just her. It’s… me. It’s how I feel. She just said it out loud.”
Nathan sighed, pressing his forehead to yours. “You’re not broken,” he murmured. “You’re not failing me. You’re my wife. I love you with or without kids, with or without all the shit that’s messing with your head. That’s never going to change.”
Tears collected in your eyes, and this time, you let them fall.
Nathan kissed your forehead, his lips lingering against your skin. “You, me, and whatever the hell life throws at us. That’s all I need.”
You exhaled shakily, letting yourself sink into his hold.
And for the first time in a long time, you believed him.

THE MADOKA MAGICA REBELLION MOVIE AAAAAAAUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHH <33333
Spoilers ahead!!
The visuals were stunning and on point as always. The magical girl transformations were equal part whimsical and disturbing with the magic and pretty lights coupled with the imagery of literally ripping themselves apart to awaken their forms. So on-brand for this franchise and still so cool to watch!! Homura’s witch form is literally so magnificent and the witch vs witch fight with Sayaka and the others was so cool!!!
The way the movie starts off slow in that false sense of normalcy but with a tinge of unsettling
The fights were amazing and super intense. The Homura vs Mami battle kept getting crazier and was so cool and they’re both so smart. That move Homura pulls where she is about to shoot herself went HARD
The plot twists kept twisting!!!!
Yeah I predicted it was Homura who created the illusion thing but beyond that I could NOT have predicted just how insane and hard this movie would go.
When the others were saving Homura from being a witch and Madoka was going to make everything better, I thought oh this is a nice and satisfying ending to the movie, she’ll get to see Madoka again one final time!
BUT THEN Homura grabs onto Madoka and fractures everything!!!! And takes a piece of her!!! The way Homura is just so incredibly obsessed with Madoka and still wants to save her (per her wish) but the absolute depths she is continuously willing to go to achieve what she considers ’saving’, to the point where she is happily becoming a ‘demon’ just has me flabbergasted and awed. Homura’s so compelling and I don’t know how I should feel about her after this movie but I love her regardless. These characters are so complex, I fear I’ll never be able to fully comprehend them but even if I can’t, I’m okay with being just along for the ride
I’m so pissed I watched this as soon as pride month was over. This would’ve been perfect. Obviously Homura x Madoka are so doomed yuri and I love them but also ahhhhh Sayaka x Kyoko at the end was so cute!!!!
This movie just cemented Homura’s place as my favorite character in PMMM, if not all time
THIS MOVIE WAS TOP FUCKING TIER

Makoto is waking up to start his Pokehuman journey~ Of course, he needs to choose which girl he wants to get to start out. Will he choose: Kyoko, the Fat Ass Type? Hina?, the Milk Tits Type? Or Will He Choose Sayaka, The Deep Suck Type? Better be quick, because Byakuya wants to choose next~
Warning: Lewd Content Below
(hope my bias for slave girls isn't showing with these asks XD)
“Makoto, please pick someone already.”
“I called the first pick in the car!”
“That was an hour ago!”
Makoto pouted as Byakuya glared at him. Originally the plan was for the pair to begin their adventure together as owners traveling together. This way they could help each other train with battles, strategize before gym battles, and access trade evolutions. However, due to Makoto’s indecisiveness, they were still stuck in the laboratory as Makoto struggled over his pick.
“It's hard Byakuya! All the options are so good. How can you possibly expect me to pick between one?”
“Very easily. Just pick the one that you find the most fuckable. I already know your preferences by now, so naturally I've already picked out like as well.” Makoto gulped at Byakuya’s coldness. His eyes surveyed his three options before settling on one.
Kyoko Kirigiri: The Fat Ass Type.
Despite all three girls looking dangerously beautiful, Makoto couldn't deny his overwhelming attraction to the lilac haired girl. Her booty was the biggest out of all the sluts in the room. She bent over in front of him, as if inviting him into her clearly wet pussy. The fact that she was the most clothed girl he'd ever seen, sporting a pair of purple leather gloves, turned him on even more. And don't even get him started on the most attractive feature of all: her adorable face.
…huh?
Makoto shook his head quickly to empty his thoughts. “No good. They're all equally fuckable. Trying to point to specifics just gets…weird.”
Byakugan rolled his eyes. “Then pick the bitch that's easiest to train. I don't mind taking the most stubborn woman here. In fact, she was my first choice.”
Makoto once again studied the women in front of him. Each showing a different level of submission. However he already knew who was the easiest one to tame out of the group.
Aoi Asahina: The Milk Tits Type.
Big boobed women are typically the easiest. And this one seemed extra bimbofied, with her stats pointing more towards her toned athletic body, rather than Kyoko's quick wit or Sayaka’s clever ruses. By default, Aoi was the most obedient based solely on the fact that she was the most trusting and simple out of the group, essentially ensuring her to be a loyal pet straight out of the box. Not that her body was anything to scoff at either. Makoto would die happy if it meant being able to have his face sandwiches between her milky big tits. Absolutely perfect for cuddling.
…what?
Makoto slapped himself in the face. He's been thinking crazy ever since he saw the girls. Cute faces? Hugs? Was he a child? That's not the attitude a trainer should have at all? Byakuya has lectured him time and time again about his naivety. And yet…
“...G-give me another topic.” Byakuya raised an eyeball at Makoto's strange request, causing the shorter boy to sweat. “I-it's just my heads been aching since morning, y'know?”
“...alright then. It's clear to me that you're someone who thinks more with his heart than his brain. But I expected this. So Makoto, simply pick the girl you think will make you the happiest trainer. And after you pick her, I'll get my real chosen starter, and we can begin our adventure.”
Makoto pondered Byakuya’s suggestion. Makoto always knew he wanted to become a trainer. He's been planning out his team extensively, losing countless hours of sleep staring at type match ups and spreadsheets. His inspiration was his strength, and he got his biggest source of inspiration from…
Sayaka Maizono: The Deep Suck Type.
To say that Makoto was biased towards this type would be an understatement. His first ever crush was on a trainer's PokeHuman who was a blowjob master. He'd watch her battle over and over again, love for women increasing with every fight. The fact that Sayaka had her same blue hair definitely was a plus. However the way she shook her ass was entirely new to Makoto, which made her much more exciting. She could shake her plump round butt as she used her sweet lips to kiss him softly, holding each other close as-
Stop!
“I can't do it!” Makoto yelled, clutching his head and catching everyone off guard. “Every time I try to make a choice my mind feels all fuzzy and my stomach feels lighter than air. I don't know what's wrong with me but I don't think I'm cut out to be a trainer. Not with these complex feelings.”
A beat of silence passed over the room as Makoto held his knees close to his chest. His life crumpled before him. Despite his best efforts, he knew he could never become a real trainer, let alone the very best like no one ever was.
*Smooch*
*Smooch!*
*Smoooooooch!*
“H-huh?” Makoto stumbled back as he looked up. All three pokesluts were staring at him, warm smiles on their faces. Makoto touched his cheek to make sure he wasn't dreaming. “You…you guys all kissed me? B-but why? I…I can't be your trainer.”
“Silly boy. You'll need to become much more resilient once you become our new owner.”
“We don't care if you're different from the rest of the trainers Makoto! We'll still do our best to support you.”
“Besides, getting a normal trainer wouldn't be nearly as fun as traveling with someone as romantic as you.”
Makoto wiped the tears from his eyes. “Y-you guys mean it?” The three girls nodded as Makoto pulled them into a group hug. Smiling ear to ear, Makoto left the room with three new bitches in tow. His journey was just beginning, and while it isn't exactly the origin story of your average owner, it might've even been something better. I mean, who do you know that can pull all three slave girl starters?
“Excuse me! While this is all campy and wholesome, who exactly am I going to receive? All three main starters were taken!” As Byakuya complained to the empty room, he suddenly heard a loud thud on the glass window. He turned sharply, to see a wild girl slave licking the glass while drooling.
Toko Fukawa: The Crazy Bitch Ty-
“Oh hell no!”

Homura Akemi is Selfless and Here's Why!!!!
I've thought for so long now that Homura did all the sacrifices she did in order for her to BE WITH madoka but actually?
I'm starting to change my mind.
In the anime, when Kyoko asked her what she wanted to do when they killed Walpurgisnacht, all she said was that she's "going to leave the city". Considering her history of sui**de ideology, it was a little unnerving for her to say that. Moreover, she doesn't make any attempts to look redeemable in Madoka's eyes either, which means she has little to no interest in involving herself directly with Madoka even if she survives.
Additionally, when Madoka became a God, she was heartbroken about it, but she ultimately respected her decision, even if she can't feel Madoka there most of the time (so much that she started doubting her memories of madoka). It's why she was so mad in Rebellion and insistent on finding and ending the witch that trapped them in the barrier, because they were "disrespecting Madoka's sacrifice" by existing.
Also, her witch's labyrinth in rebellion revealed that she'd always wanted to have a fun and normal life with all her fellow magical girls, living out their days in perfect harmony with them, not just Madoka. Sayaka and Kyoko who are complete opposites of each other are simply bantering, sayaka herself doesn't seem to hold anything against homura either (which its more than implied that sayaka hated homura in many timelines). Homura had always cared about all of the girls in varying degrees, as she'd always done something to try and save them from their fate, although all of them were futile. But since she had always seen Madoka as the person who cared about her the most, when the other girls started to pose a problem for her safety, she will set them aside in order to prioritise Madoka.
Anyway, when Homura finds out she was experimented on by kyubei in order to one day gain control of Madoka, she curses herself into becoming a witch. When she was saved, she knows that Kyubei are now 100% sure of Madoka's existence and it wont be long before she's controlled.
Homura became a "demon" in order to prevent Kyubei from rendering Madoka's sacrifice useless.
She did do it for love as she claimed, and maybe to an extent, yes, she is controlling madoka, but it is to ensure that she does not endanger herself again. She doesn't even bother making herself look good in their eyes after she's rewritten the timeline, she embodies her role as "the villain" much as she had back in the anime when she ended up looking like a psychopathic weirdo.
TLDR; Homura's main goal is not to Have Madoka, its to Let Madoka Exist, even at her own expense.
And that's how it always has been.

Oh?
I can share my theory
Get ready for me to open the floodgates lol
(spoilers for chapter 1)
So
Here's my theory
Kai is going to be our investigation assistant going forward now that Eva is dead
"but he was resistant to investigating in both the prologue and chapter 1!" I hear you saying
But with how much Kai and Damon bonded in chapter 1 (no matter how unwillingly it happened, they still *bonded*), Damon is going to need someone he trusts, no matter how much he denies it, the first person he trusts *throws him under the bus for her murder and is then brutally executed herself*, humans are very social creatures, we will littrally go crazy if we don't trust people, I know Kai is no kyoko in the smarts department, but he isn't *dumb* (remember when he told Damon that the potential killer who ran by the closet took off their shoes so that they wouldn't be able to tell the killer because of everyone wearing different shoes? Damon didn't come up with that! Kai did! And you need *some* smarts to be a content creator)
It's like he's going to be the Watson to Damon's Sherlock Holmes, someone who Damon can tell his thought process to, to explain it to the audience how he reached his conclusion, but smart by themselves
Kai was WAY too prevalent in chapter one for him to go back to a background character
At least, that's my thought process
Like, he casually revealed game changing stuff in his ftes, like the fact his *EVERYTHING ON HIS STUDENT PROFILE IS A COMPLETE LIE!*
Why is it just Kai? Who made the student profiles if they got his so wrong?
Flips what we assume about the student profiles on their head
Ough
Tell me what you think :]
I'll tell you what I think: I think great minds think alike because this is *exactly* what I think will happen (as you'll see in my analysis).
Describing the relationship between Damon and Kai in regards to the cases as Sherlock and Watson is literally perfect.
The first part of my analysis is actually about every instance something Kai has said has contradicted the information we've been given about him!! I saw his FTE and was so surprised at how casually that was revealed because it feels so important?!
The second part thus far has been about his contribution in the trials, so you can bet I took notice of the shoe thing!!
Overall I'm hoping we're both on the right track because I would love for Kai to be the support (and from a writing standpoint it does make sense). I also hope that you'll enjoy my analysis on him, when it does come out (hopefully soon!!).
Thank you so much for sharing your theory with me and, again, sorry for neglecting to properly respond right away!!

The New Faculty of Francois Dupont:
Since Marinette and her class left Francois, a lot has changed to the school. The Faculty, in particular, hasn't change much, but it still noticeable even when looked from afar.
Miss Tulippe Viola
Miss Viola is one of Francois's main teachers, and the Ultimate Class's homeroom teacher.
From the outside, she seems like a very energetic person. She also seems to be beaming with joy, and always has the craziest stories to share.
She carries a bright smile on her face, and it isn't hard to make her laugh.
However... she tends to be very passive-aggressive with her students. If one of them doesn't seem to understand what she is explaining, she will find polite ways of calling them dumb.
And if you try to ask her too much, she will snap at you.
She isn't as beloved as she thinks he is, most students barely think of her when they aren't in her class.
Although her opinion on the students can change in a matter of seconds (depending what said student does), she seems to have favourites and least favorites.
She seems to be harsher with Kyoko, Byakuya, Celeste and Makoto.
Meanwhile, she seems relatively chill with Henri. Although sometimes she gives quite... questionable pieces of advice to him.
Her classes are usually seen as boring, and no one pays much attention to her.
Maybe she hides more to her smiles and her tales...
Miss Mendeleeive
Mendeleeive still lectures on Dupont, and still is the main science teacher.
Time has made her a bit more strict and grumpy, but still isn't a bad teacher.
She can be very demanding on her students, but at least is fair towards all her students.
Similar to Principal Bustier, she also compares Henri to Marinette... although, it's very different from the usual.
Although she admits Henri is not a perfect student (ponctuality and all), she says that he seems way more dedicated and realistic than Marinette.
He isn't even her favourite student or anything, but, she recognizes her efforts, and can't understand why people keep putting him down in comparison to his mother.
She is one of the few people that doesn't bow down to Vanessa's demands, which usually leads to conflict.
Always confiscates Camille's cellphone before classes. "If you want to fill your mind with rotting gossipy subjects, you will do it out of my class, Miss Duparc!"
Principal Bustier:
Bustier had... a disastrous goverment of Paris and France eventually.
The solutions that she came up for the country's problems were very shallow and only led to more and more problems.
Still, the higher ups on Francois Dupont thought that having not only an old beloved teacher, but "sucessful" politician, as a principal would be a fantastic marketing.
Well... she is far from a good principal.
Now, instead of allowing Chloe to torment her classmates, she allows Vanessa (who is way worse) bully every kid in school.
She doesn't try to do anything with Camille's blog either, seeing it as "harmless teen gossip" (not caring for how much some of the involved students were actually affected by the rumors she spred).
And mostly... she is very disrespectful towards Henri's mental health in general. She believes he could solve his depression by smiling more, and that if he put enough effort, he could turn into the "Next Marinette" (she is one of the main responsibles for Henri's recent mental struggles).
She honestly thinks she is doing a great job, and she is as loved as a principal as she was as a teacher... which is far from the case, especially considering how a lot of the Ultimate Class only tolerates her.

I watched the Madoka Magica: Rebellion movie today, and I absolutely loved it. A very interesting spin on the shows ending, and it makes perfect sense to me. In the show, nearly all of them died except for Madoka and Homura, the former of which sacrifices herself to become a God of sorts so that way no other magical girl will have to suffer anymore. So she leaves Homura alone. Alone in a world where nobody but Homura remembered Madoka. And after everything that girl went through to try and save Madoka, that's a hard pill to swallow. So when it's revealed in the movie that the reality that the girls are in isn't real, and that one of them made it up because they now have the powers of a witch, it made perfect sense for that person to be Homura.
Tumblr media
Out of all the other magical girls, she's the one who has faced the most heartbeat and despair. Constantly going back in time, creating different worlds as a result of said time travel, all in a bid to save Madoka, the person who she loves the most. And in the end, all of her efforts were in vain. She lost the one person who she had sworn to save and protect. So is it any wonder that she would give in to her despair and create a world where Madoka and all of their friends could live peacefully?
Tumblr media
Look at them. All together and happy, unaware of the reality they actually come from. In other words, a world that Homura wanted and desired more than anything else. Something that I found to be really interesting and thought was a nice touch was this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The people around them don't have faces. Almost as if they weren't real people, and the only ones who WERE in fact real was Homura, her friends, and the people closest to them. They were the only ones who actually had faces in this world. Of course, eventually Homura realizes that something is off about the world, and confides in Kyoko. The two then set out to Kyoko's hometown, hoping to find some answers there....only for the bus that they were on to take them back to the city that they currently live in. And endless loop that they can't get out of. As if nothing outside of that city existed. A lot of stuff happens, and Homura eventually comes to a startling conclusion: that she was the witch that created the labyrinth they were all currently stuck in. As a result, she gives in to despair entirely and transforms into a witch. Madoka and the others arrive to try and save Homura. And now we get up to the scene that had me screaming😂.
Tumblr media
I've been shipping these two since I watched the show, so the fact that Sayaka actually confessed to Kyoko here was a very welcomed surprise, lol. Anyway, they all fight together to save Homura (also, I loved that they played Misterioso by Kalafina for that scene, absolutely banger song) and eventually Madoka regains her true form once again:
Tumblr media
Everything looks like it's going well, and it looks like Homura will be saved....until this happens:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Homura takes away Madoka's God powers so she can live as an ordinary girl, and takes the power for herself, essentially turning her into a demon.
Tumblr media
Now, I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of people who hated this part, but honestly? I loved it. To me, it really showed how done Homura was with everything (and I can't say that I blame the girl, she just found out from Kyube that she was being used for an experiment in order to get to Madoka) and that she would literally do ANYTHING to make sure that Madoka and her friends could live happy lives.
Even if that meant becoming a demon to do it.
The movie ends with all of the girls alive. And this time, instead of Madoka no longer existing in the world, she's here too. In fact, she's the transfer student instead of Homura. Very interesting turn of events indeed.
All in all, I really loved this movie and I think the ending makes perfect sense, especially for someone like Homura, who has been through a heck of a lot for a young girl her age. So becoming the villain in the end? Fits her tragic story perfectly.

Anti-Propaganda is not allowed. Please only give reasons to vote for something and not give reasons to vote against something.
Propaganda
Kyosaya: TL;DR; KyoSaya is the perfect mix of enemies to lovers, sacrifice, tragedy, and disaster gays.
Like the best romances, it started when Kyoko tried to kill Sayaka. Sayaka was an inexperienced magical girl and Kyoko thought she could kill her and take over her district. She tried twice (Homura then Madoka interposed).
Then, she started to get to know Sayaka. They were opposite: Sayaka was selfless to the point that she did not care about her (not cleaning her gem), whereas Kyoko was selfish, because her past altruistic actions went terribly wrong.
Then there is the downfall of Sayaka, Kyoko has grown affection towards her, she claimed that Sayaka made her change her mind. And when Sayaka turns into a witch, Kyoko sacrifies herself to try and save her.
The two die, together forever.
AND THERE IS REBELLION
In Homura's fake world, the two are extremely close. Sayaka is much more mature. We discover that while Kyoko didn't know she leaved in a fake world, Sayaka 100% knew what it was. The reason she came here WAS FOR KYOKO, because she had one regret: she left Kyoko behind.
Vote KyoSaya !

Disclaimer! ⚠️: this is not meant to take jabs at the ocs as some of these characters have unpleasant personalities. I chose these based on similar traits, outfits they’d look good in, and the ultimate talents. If you would like me to alter the outfit, I will. It just needs to be recognizable as the specific character’s outfit. This will take me an incredibly long time, upwards to multiple weeks. Since I am doing splash arts and one big art piece. If you are uncomfortable with the character your oc was given, please let me know and I’ll do my best to rearrange things. I will only being drawing YOUR oc in THEIR outfit and pose. For the kamukura wrangler au what if Makoto gets sick, like really out of it kind of sick, and Taka takes care of him BUT it brings back memories of when Makoto used to take care of him when he was sick, in much less durable body and weaker body?
"He's noisy when he's in pain," Celeste observes.
"Not especially, for a normal human," Kyoko replies.
"I never compared him to normal humans. I said that he is noisy."
Kyoko hums in acknowledgement.
They're both watching Taka dose Makoto with an expectorant and a glass of juice. Every time the luckster coughs, there is a quiet groan or whimper to follow; it pains his throat, and he no longer has the presence of mind to downplay it.
"It might not have gotten this bad, had Ishimaru not insisted on performing chemical analysis on the pills he was provided," Leon muses uninvestedly. He is in his cot, bouncing a ball so that it ricochets from the floor to the ceiling and then back to his hand. "You gave the disease time to progress."
"It was that or risk letting them poison him," Taka replies, swiping a new sheen of sweat from Makoto's brow, as he does every few minutes.
Makoto groans. His headache has lessened, now that they've turned the lights off– thankfully, Taka can see in the dim lighting –but the pain still flares in the aftermath of his coughing.
"Shhh," Taka soothes. "It's just a side-effect of your congested sinuses. In another twelve hours, you'll be through the worst of it. At least you can breathe, now."
"The clogged nasal passages were annoying," Celeste agrees.
"As was Ishimaru's extreme vigilance, as if he thought Naegi would suffocate," Leon says.
Taka ignores them. Makoto's eyes have opened. They shortly drift closed again. It's been happening this way for hours now, through a bowl of soup and now a glass of juice. There have also been a few delirious murmurings: "In a minute," "Thanks, I forgot," and one half-chuckling "Relax." He doesn't murmur anything this time, but he does smile slightly, which is a welcome break from the pained faces he makes each time he coughs or sneezes.
He...likes it, when Makoto's eyes open. Even if it's not for long. And even though he knows Makoto needs his rest.
"I'm just going to take your temperature again, okay?" Taka says, and something about those precise words...it feels as though he's recited something. The feeling of a square peg entering a square hole; something natural and correct. I'm just going to check your temperature again, okay?
It sounds like...
He knows that he's occasionally found himself imitating Makoto's speech patterns, just as a means of making himself understood (and perhaps as an attempt to be a real person), but in this case it feels so utterly natural to imagine those same words uttered by Makoto's voice that he feels sure he must have heard them at some point.
But no. Makoto has never taken his temperature. Why would he? This experiment's health is perfect, his immune system optimized, and...
He suddenly vividly imagines a feeling of muscles aching, a feeling of a congested nose, and a prohibitively hazy image of Makoto's face.
I'm just going to check your temperature again, okay?
"Ishimaru?" Kyoko probes.
Taka takes up the tympanic thermometer he set aside earlier and turns it on. "You really shouldn't call me that," he says, as he checks on Makoto's fever.

ladybug + dragon fusion
This is gonna be an interesting one
Tumblr media
Now, I've seen this with a few people that would have a dragonfly created from the ladybug and dragon, but I'm maddeningly different, for better or worse. So, my answer? A Leopard Gecko. An interesting choice, but I had my heart set on this since it's a love letter to my sister and her leopard gecko, Kyoko.
Now, concept and powers. Creation and Perfection, my first and immediate thoughts are perfectionists, so perfectionism felt fitting. Now, this is where things got tricky with the powers. You have the dragon that can give their holders the ability to take elemental forms (I suppose the perfect forms?) and creation. My answer to this comes in the ability of Yamori and Darter to solidify the elements into perfect elemental-based constructs. Nothing living or alive.
And, the tool, simply put together with a yo-yo and a sword and my thoughts are a sword whip.

Kyoko kirigiri confesses her love to a male s/o that thinks she is going out with naegi
Kyoko Kirigiri with a Male Reader who Thinks she's Dating Makoto
Tumblr media
It might sound ridiculous to anyone else, but to you, it just made sense at the time
It's not as if they were together 24/7, but they did have chemistry
And as they say, opposites attract
Makoto's open, somewhat clumsy attitude was a perfect match for Kyoko's cold exterior
Plus, he always seemed keen on getting to know the detective, and even managed to get a few reactions from her besides her typical aloof demeanor
And going along with Kyoko's point about him being obvious and "foolishly open," anyone could see that he admired her
Though it felt like a needle in your heart, you couldn't blame him
Makoto was a good guy, but you almost felt that he didn't deserve Kyoko
He was just an average student with a phony "luck" title, so what made him so special?
But he was also lucky enough to manage to pull her, so you supposed that it was somewhat respectable
Or so you thought
Kyoko didn't miss how you stared at her with a sad and longing look in your eyes whenever she was with Makoto
You were almost as bad as him, honestly
And so, she wasted no time in approaching you and clearing things up
But to make sure she wasn't getting the wrong idea, she kept prying until you finally voiced your worries yourself
"I figured. (Name), Makoto and I are not dating. I admit, he's a good friend, and I enjoy spending time with him. But frankly, I don't think he's quite boyfriend material. Not for me, at least. But I can think of a better match."
She then looked away with a small blush as finally voiced her feelings
You looked at her in surprise, and you almost wanted to confirm your suspicion, but was afraid to get the wrong idea again
But thankfully, Kyoko beat you to it
You were, in fact, the perfect guy for her
No one could replace you, not even Makoto
Oh, how happy you were to hear that!
With that, the two of you began a beautiful romance
Sometimes, you caught Makoto looking at you with the same longing look you once held, but with a small smile to signal that he was happy for the two of you
But you weren't worried anymore
You were the lucky one now, and you knew that Kyoko would never choose anyone else

summary: the choice is yours. will the dinner be sweet or spicy?
Tumblr media
there was a song coming from the corners of the room. the words were bleared by all the voices chatting all around the tables distributed through the hall, still you found yourself liking its tranquil vibe. it soothed your nerves, making your wall of anxiety drop down brick by brick.
calmer than before, your legs began approaching the table where all your friends were sat at, which was placed in a cozy corner with a small heather next to it. kageyama and hinata wasted no time making everyone notice their arrival, saying their hellos and beginning to throw jokes around with the others almost immediately.
you, on the other hand, had a quieter entrance, waving and smiling at each one, strolling with your eyes the remaining free seats.
of course, what were the odds that the spot left for you was none other the one next tsukishima and shimizu.
hinata and kageyama took their seats, while you walked towards the empty chair at the other end of the table, and as you did, you felt a pair of golden eyes lock their gaze on your perfumed figure.
the second you returned his gaze, the tiny, imperceptible, smile he had made flashes of yesterday’s evening appear in your mind.
it wasn’t explicit imagines, no, it was just details. his smell, the fabric of his sweater, the taste of his saliva...
enough to make your blood pressure rise and your skin turn reddish.
“hey,” said kiyoko at your right, shifting your attention to her. she had her elbows resting on the table, her cheeks between the palms of her hands and her blue eyes looking right at you.
you took a moment to take in how beautiful your friend was; her cherry red lipstick that matched her long, almond shaped nails and her short dress, so elegant and a little risqué too.
“miss “it’s just a dinner with friends, not a gala” sure does know how to catch gazes!” you exclaim, letting out a laugh, “my god, you look stunning, kyoko.” giving her your biggest and most sincere smile.
she chuckled, shaking your compliments away with her hand. “i was about to tell you the same.”
“my girls are so pretty!” you heard yachi squeak in front of you, who had been listening to your interaction and wanted to add her say on the matter, like always.
kiyoko gave her a tender look, probably not hearing that for the first time that day, and you did as well, before initiating small talk with her and the other people who shared that corner of the table; yamaguchi, daichi, sugawara. completely and involuntarily discarding tsukishima at your left, who hadn’t taken his eyes off of you not one moment, even when you weren’t looking.
the waiter came in to take each one of your orders, taking at least 5 good minutes to write all of them down, as you guys occupied the biggest table in the whole room.
you silently watched your friends order their favorite meals and sharing thoughts and opinions on the new little restaurant you were at, which, to you, seemed just perfect.
small. cozy. not crowded at all– which was undoubtedly the thing you liked most about it.
the walls were colored of a soft yellow, that faded into a peach orange towards the floor. there were lots of wooden decorations, like little carps statues, that matched the parquet floor. and the windows were so big, one could see the entire square from it. the restaurant was placed in such good spot.
although being a bit far from you, you felt the urge to conversate with yamaguchi a bit. you tried to avoid the sensitive topic, but you also questioned him a couple times how he was feeling. turns out, everything was fine, he was fine. and that was all that mattered.
it was about half an hour later that you guys began eating the meals you’ve ordered. you quietly ate your food, whilst listening to everyone chit chat about frivolities. yachi kept throwing jokes around like her usual self, trying to rip a laughter out of tadashi, daichi and sugawara were talking about the weather and the amount of homework to be done during the coming two weeks, and shimizu played around with yachi and yamaguchi.

My Madoka Magica Thoughts
Tumblr media
Back in May of this year I watched Madoka Magica for the first time with a group of friends, and while it was an enjoyable experience, I couldn’t quite say I liked it. While watching it, almost every character bugged me to no end, and when it was over, I was left with this odd gut feeling, almost like dissatisfaction.
Which made absolutely no sense to me: this should be right up my alley: magical girls with a dark twist? Yes, sign me up! So why didn’t it land for me? And was giving it a second chance going to do anything?
Apparently yes because a week ago I read the manga, and while I still don’t really like it, I did enjoy it more than I had before. So, here are some of my thoughts that I had while reading it.
Also major spoilers.
✨The first thing I noticed when reading the story is that this time around, I enjoyed the characters more, and I think this is because I had the context of their backstories to help me empathize with them. I know that part of the story’s point is to show a character who might be mean on the surface has their reasons for acting the way they do, but I honestly found most of the characters too bitchy or annoying to truly emphasize with them the first time around, even when their pasts were revealed. So this time, knowing that Homura has been traveling through time over and over again, or that Kyoko’s father killed her family, I was able to enjoy them more in the story than before (even if I still can’t fully say I like them) because I was able to apply this understanding of them earlier on than before.
✨I loved the theme of selflessness vs selfishness when making one’s wish, and how there can be consequences to both: while Kyoko regrets making the wish for her father, Mami regrets making the wish only for herself. No matter what, none of the wishes will be perfect and that’s the point. There’s a high cost in wishing for the impossible, and Kubey obviously knows this, since it’s what leads them to turn into witches.
✨Sayuka’s outburst at Madoka made more sense to me this time around. Madoka is sort of the angel on her shoulder so to speak, almost coming off as high and mighty (though not intentional) when she’s telling Sayuka what is good and isn’t while not being a magical girl herself. It can be frustrating when someone tells you how to do your job or live your life when they don’t carry those same responsibilities. Sayuka made a sacrifice in becoming a magical girl, and is figuring out how to navigate it. Madoka hasn't made that sacrifice, so from Sayuka’s pov she has no right to tell her what to do.
✨Homura is interesting because she does everything for Madoka’s sake: she’s sort of a mix of selflessness and selfishness. Because of her repeating time over and over again, she’s become a person who no longer understands the emotions of those around her, not even Madoka and her kindness.
Anyway, that’s most of my thoughts. Even though they’re all positive enough, overall, I can’t bring myself to enjoy the show or the manga. Something just doesn’t sit with me and when I’m reading or watching, I like bits and pieces, but not the entire picture, and I still haven’t been able to put a finger on why. I just don’t like it I suppose.
